Second day of the 3rd Conference on Digital Transformation discusses transition towards digital economy

Activities of the second day of the 3rd Conference on Digital Transformation kicked off on Saturday with the participation of Arab and foreign experts and academics.

Participants will discuss several topics including transition into digital economy, open data and their economic and social impacts, strategic leadership of digital transformation, e-payment, monetary policy, the culture of digital transformation and its role in supporting the national economy and the situation of Syria’s communications sector.

Minister of Communications Eyad Al-Khaltieb said that the participants will discuss digital transformation experiences in Syria’s neighboring countries, best ways of e-payment.

 He pointed out that the first day of the conference was distinguished in terms of participations and guests, stressing that all participants were enthusiastic to present their best.

The activities of the second day of the conference also include an exhibition held by the Distinction and Creativity Agency under the title “Inventors from Syria”.
