SDF separatist militia storms villages in the south of Hasakah, kidnaps three youths

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia on Tuesday stormed several villages in the countryside of Al-Shaddadi city in the south of Hasakah and kidnapped three young men. The SDF’s raids were provided cover by the US occupation air force.

The aggressive act is part of the SDF militia’s continuous crimes and repressive practices against locals in the villages and towns the militia occupies in the Syrian Al-Jazira region.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the SDF militants stormed Ajaja and Eidan villages in Al-Shaddadi, searched the houses, kidnapped three youths and took them to forcible recruitment camps where they will be trained on fighting alongside the militia.

The raids caused a state of panic among residents, the sources added.

Over the past period, the SDF militia has escalated attacks on areas under its control. The militants stormed dozens of villages and towns in the countryside of Hasakah, Deir Ezzor and Raqqa and kidnapped hundreds of young men in order to recruit them within its ranks.
