SDF militiamen open fire on protesters in Hasaka and Qameshli city, killing a civilian

HASAKA, (ST)_At least one civilian was martyred and 3 others wounded as the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia opened fire at the residents of Hasaka and Qameshli cities, who were protesting against the unjust siege being imposed on them by the militia .

According to Director of Health Directorate Dr. Issa Khalaf, four wounded civilians were conveyed to the new medical center where one of them was martyred as a result of wounds he sustained during the protest, while the other three wounded civilians were treated with the available medicines.

The residents of Hasaka city gathered today outside the headquarters of the Justice Palace to peacefully protest against the siege being imposed on the city by the SDF militiamen since 20 days ago .

The siege imposed on the cities of Hasaka and Qameshli has aggravated the humanitarian and service situation and prevented ensuring the basic constituents of life for citizens.

The SDF militia prevented the entry of flour and fuel into public and private bakeries, which led to their suspension.
