(SDF) militia seizes 32 apartments to secure the points and bases of the American occupier in al-Hasaka

On March 5th, the US-backed “SDF” militia seized 32 houses in the Al-Jibsa Housing Association in the city of Al-Hasaka and expelled their residents to provide protection for the American occupation bases in that area.

Civil sources in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood stated that the “SDF” militia forced 32 families to leave their houses in the Al-Jibsa Housing Association located between the Ghweran and Al-Zuhur neighborhoods, and threw their belongings and furniture In the street, and warned the rest of the residents to empty their homes according to a specific deadline.

The sources added: “Homeowners are looking for rental housing in the Al-Zuhur and Ghweran neighborhoods after all attempts to keep their homes failed.”

The people called on international and human rights organizations and the concerned authorities to intervene to stop these violations against the people, especially the seizure of the properties and homes of citizens near the headquarters of the American occupation forces.

During the past years, the “SDF” militia and the American occupation forces seized buildings, homes, and government headquarters that extend between al-Nashwa roundabout and al-Basil roundabout in the Ghweran neighborhood, including the Civil Affairs headquarters, the House of Culture, the Sports City, the Syrian Informatics Association, the Traffic Branch, the Environmental Affairs Directorate, the Health Directorate, the Commercial Bank of Syria, and the Public Administration.

The “SDF” militia expelled a large number of homeowners in al-Salihiya and al-Nasseriah Districts and seized a number of houses in al-Hilalia district in the city of Qamishli to equip them and house families affiliated with the “Qasd” militia in these houses.
