SDF militia prevents farmers from cultivating land in Deir Ezzor countryside; kill a woman and kidnapping dozens in al-Houl Camp

On September 30, Residents of villages in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor staged demonstrations denouncing the attacks of the separatist “SDF” militia against them and their livelihoods.

The SDF militias prevented farmers from cultivating their lands which are the main source of their income.

 According to local sources from the northern countryside of the Deir Ezzour Governorate, hundreds of residents of Kesra, Hawaej, Albu Masa’a and Harmousheya villages demonstrated against the SDF militia’s decisions.

 The protesters blocked the Raqqa -Deir Ezzor highway with burning tires and chanted slogans calling for the departure of the SDF militia from the area.

In al-Hassaka Governorate:

Local sources said that dozens of women demonstrated demanding better service conditions in al-Houl Camp, 45 km east of the city of Hasaka.

The protesting women called for ending the Camp’s instability and insecurity which increased the crime rate in it.

 

The SDF-run Asyish policemen forcedly dispersed protesters, killing one woman, injuring seven and taking more than 50 women to an unknown destination.
