SDF militia kidnaps workers in Qamishli city

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Monday kidnapped a number of workers from a market in Qamishli city in Hasakah and took them to an unknown destination.

Local sources told SANA that a group of SDF militants this morning stormed into several streets in the city of Qamishli and kidnapped a number of people who used to look out for their livelihood in Zaki Al-Arsouzi Street near the vegetable market.

Another group of SDF militants stormed into a newly-built building where they kidnapped several construction and casting workers and took them to an unknown destination.

The SDF militia has escalated raids on areas under its control in the Syrian Al-Jazira region with the support of the US occupation planes. During these raids, the militia kidnapped dozens of civilians in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Hasakah with the aim of recruiting them within its ranks.
