Scores of Israeli settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Scores of Israeli settlers on Tuesday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque once again under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

Palestinian Wafa News Agency said that scores of Israeli settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque from the direction of Al-Maghariba gate, and carried out provocative tours in its yards under tight guard by the occupation’s forces.

On a daily basis, Israeli settlers break into Al-Aqsa Mosque  under the protection of the occupation’s forces in an attempt to impose a fait accompli with regard to Judaizing the Mosque and imposing control over it

In another development, the Israeli occupation forces today demolished Palestinian-owned structures east of the town of Yatta, in the south of the occupied West Bank, and clashed with local residents who confronted the demolitions, according to local sources.

Rateb al-Jabour said the Israeli soldiers demolished a house and two 300-square-meter depots owned by a local resident and located near the illegal settlements of Susiya and Avigal.

Residents clashed with the soldiers, who fired steel bullets, stun grenades and teargas canisters at the youths who gathered to prevent the demolition, resulting in many cases of suffocation due to inhaling teargas, while others were severely beaten and two were detained.

There are four other structures in the same area that are threatened with demolition.
