Schulz calls on Israeli occupation to comply international law

Munich-(ST)- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on the Israeli occupation entity  to comply with the international law, in response to the entity’s threats to invade the city of Rafah, which is crowded with displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip.

Scholz said in his statement during the 60th Munich Security Conference yesterday, as reported by RT: “We are very clear about the important things that must be said. Firstly, humanitarian aid must reach Gaza, and it must reach intensively more than it is today, and secondly, international law must be adhered to,” reminding the Israeli occupation authorities of their responsibility to comply with international law.

The German Chancellor pointed out that his country is holding talks to achieve peace in the region, and is also working to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces forced about 1,300,000 Palestinians into the northern and central Gaza Strip. These Palestinians fled to the city of Rafah, which made it crowded with people as the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continues for the 134th day, leaving tens of thousands of victims, most of them are children and women.
