Schools in Tariq Al-Sad neighborhood in Daraa return to school after being cleared of ISIS terrorists

Daraa (ST): Daraa Education Department announced that, as of this morning, the schools of Tariq al-Sad neighborhood in Daraa city have returned to regular hours and started receiving students, after the end of the security operation and the elimination of the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” organization that were holed up in the neighborhood.
The director of Daraa Education, Eng. Manhal al-Amarin, stated in a statement that the directorate instructed the administrative and teaching cadres in the neighborhood’s schools to return to teaching after a 15-day pause due to the security operation in the neighborhood, stressing that the suspension of teaching came to preserve the lives of children and educational cadres.
Al-Amarin added that the Directorate will work to compensate the students’ educational losses through intensive teaching programs during the holidays as well as free courses, pointing out that there are two schools in the neighborhood for basic education, which include about 800 students.
