Sayyed Nasrallah: United States is behind the terrorist war in Syria

Beirut, (ST) – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the United States of America and its Western allies are behind the terrorist war that was waged against Syria. “They are responsible for what is happening there as a result of the blockade and unfair sanctions imposed on it”, he added.

In a speech he delivered yesterday on the occasion of the anniversary of the second liberation, SayyedNasrallah said: The United States is trying to revive the terrorist organization “ISIS” again. He pointed out that as soon as it became clear that the military war had failed, and Syria had begun to recover, the Caesar Act and sanctions came to besiege it and prevent international companies from investing in it.

Nasrallah said that the takfiris were “mere stupid tools in the American project.” He pointed out that the American forces returned to Iraq under the pretext of “ISIS” and through the same pretext entered to occupy the Syrian island, occupied the Syrian oil and gas fields, and prevented the return of these fields to the Syrian state and they steal oil on a daily basis.

Nasrallah stressed that the resistance will not accept a change in the existing rules of engagement, and the enemy must understand that .The resistance will respond with full force to any assassination carried out by this enemy on Lebanese soil, whether Lebanese or non-Lebanese. He considered that the enemy is in a historical, existential and strategic dilemma, and will not find a way out for that. .

Regarding Lebanese internal affairs, SayyedNasrallah indicated that in the presidential file it was said yesterday by a key party that they reject dialogue. He added: We are facing a serious and deep discussion with the Free Patriotic Movement, and it needs some time to discuss the draft issue of administrative and financial decentralization that was presented to us, and if we agree on it with the parties, it will be presented to the Parliament, because it needs a majority for approval.
