Sayyed Nasrallah: The steadfastness of the axis of resistance has thwarted the strife in the region, which aims to neglect the Palestinian cause

On July 5th, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed that the steadfastness of the resistance axis had thwarted the strife in the region, which was aimed at forgetting the Palestinian cause. 

“ In order to confront the Israeli occupation, it is necessary to confront the American hegemony over the region, which is working to plunder its resources and prevent the progress of its peoples after diverting all capabilities in the region to the interest the Zionist entity, Sayyed Nasrallah said in a speech during the opening of the conference“Palestine Wins: Renewing the Media Discourse and Managing the Confrontation”. 

Nasrallah stressed that every massacre committed by the Israeli enemy is an American massacre, and every aggression of this enemy is an American aggression. 

Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the American policy is the main reason for the siege and crises that the Lebanese, Syrians and Yemenis suffer from because the goal of economic sanctions against the countries and peoples of the axis of resistance is to reach a point that there is no place for Palestine. 

Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that the sanctions that America is practicing today on Lebanon are the same that it has imposed on Syria through the “Caesar Law” aimed at preventing investment in it and putting pressure on its people, and it is the same that is being applied on Iraq, Iran and Yemen. 

Sayyed Nasrallah praised the media of the resistance, which contributed to making the victory by relying on facts, studies, research and victories achieved by the resistance axis and imposing the rules of engagement on the Israeli and American. 

Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that there is a media war for which billions of dollars have been  harnessed to distort the resistance, which requires the development of a media plan to confront forgery and distortion. 

Sayyed Nasrallah clarified that the media discourse on the axis of resistance is based on the right of the people of Palestine to their land and Syria to its Golan. 

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that whatever the criteria for the right are, they will be in the Palestinian cause and in the media discourse of the resistance axis, which is based on diverse popular bases, ideologically and religiously, united by Jerusalem, its holy sites, and the grievances of the Palestinians. 

Sayyed Nasrallah called for developing the media discourse on the axis of resistance in parallel with achieving achievements on various other fronts.

Sayyed Nasrallah affirmed his rejection of political use of the investigation into the explosion of the Port of Beirut, asking, “Is there real judicial action or political targeting in the issue of the Port of Beirut?”
