Sayyed Nasrallah: The global war on Syria has failed, and opening up to it today is an acknowledgment of its victory

Beirut (ST): The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the project of the global war against Syria had failed militarily and politically, and this is a huge achievement, pointing out that opening up to Syria today is an acknowledgment of its victory.

Sayyed Nasrallah said in today’s speech that many Arab countries have a desire to restore full relations with Syria, but the obstacle is the American objection, adding, “When we see Arab delegations in Damascus, we feel happy.”

Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that Syria has always been the basis of the resistance front and confronting the Zionist enemy, and it is still today in the heart of the resistance axis and will remain, stressing that Syria’s steadfastness and support for the resistance movements is what changed all equations in the region over the past years.

Sayyed Nasrallah continued: “I say with all sincerity that Syria exercises its full sovereignty and freedom and it is the one that takes the decisions it wants, and any talk of Iranian interference has no basis in truth,” expressing confidence in the ability of Syria, its leadership, people and army to overcome the stage, including the American blockade and sanctions without submission or surrender.
