Sayyed Nasrallah: Syria’s support for the Palestinian cause and resistance are main reasons for targeting it
Beirut, (ST) – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, affirmed that after ten years of crisis in Syria, the nature of terrorist war against the country and who was standing behind it began to be revealed day after day. He pointed out that, US, European Union and some Arab regimes have played a major role in this terrorist war that was waged on Syria.
Sayyed Nasrallah said on Wednesday during a memorial ceremony for late Sheikh Al-QadiAhmed Al-Zein that, Syria’s support for the Palestinian cause and the resistance which is the only hope for the liberation and restoration of Palestine, was one of the most important reasons behind targeting the country.
Nasrallah added that, time has affirmed the correctness of the resistance’s stance on what has happened in Syria.
On the Palestinian issue, Nasrallah stressed that what is called “the Deal of the Century” died because of the steadfastness of the Palestinians and the evidence of its failure is US President Donald Trump.”
On the situation in Yemen, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that, the Saudi regime’s announcement of an initiative to end the war in Yemen is part of a new media war practiced against the Yemeni people.
On the Lebanese issue, Sayyed Nasrallah said that, there are complications, but we are not at the stage of despair, stressing that there are serious and collective efforts from more than one side to cooperate and overcome obstacles, and the time has come to reach a solution.
