Saudi Finance Minister Meets Director of IMF

The Saudi Finance Minister is currently in discussions with the director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the president of the World Bank Group regarding the reconstruction process in Syria.

– The Saudi Finance Minister is focused on achieving economic development for Syria in collaboration with the IMF and the World Bank.
– A trilateral statement from Saudi Arabia, the IMF, and the World Bank affirms their support for the efforts of the Syrian authorities in recovery and development.
– They welcome initiatives to reintegrate Syria into the international community.
– They also support the efforts of the Syrian authorities to enhance governance and increase transparency.
