Saudi aggression renews breach of ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah

SANA’A, (ST) – Saudi aggression forces renewed on Sunday their violation of the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah province in western Yemen.

A security source told the Yemeni news agency Saba that the forces of aggression bombarded a number of mortar shells and artillery scattered areas in Alfaza and north of the mountainous Directorate of Tahita, causing damage to the homes of citizens.

An attempted infiltration of mercenaries of aggression northwest of Hays in Hodeidah was foiled, killing and wounding some, the source said.

On the other hand, the High Authority for medicines and medical supplies of Yemen stressed that the continued detention of ships of  oil derivatives warns of a humanitarian disaster in the pharmaceutical sector in Yemen.

Head of the Authority Dr. Mohammed Al-Madani said that the local pharmaceutical factories are in dire need of oil derivatives to run the vehicles that transport medicines to the warehouses and governorates.

The Saudi-led coalition continues its aggression against Yemen since March 26, 2015, leaving thousands of civilian casualties and massive destruction of structures, infrastructure and economy as well as siege and famine which constitute a humanitarian disaster.
