SANA’A, (ST) – The Yemeni Oil Company announced on Wednesday that the forces of the Saudi aggression have detained a fuel tanker ship off the Yemeni coast.
Al Maserah website quoted the company’s official spokesman, Issam Yahya Al-Mutawakel, as saying in a tweet that, “the Saudi aggression detained in international waters the ship Splendor Sub-Fire belonging to the private sector factories, which carries 24,189 tons of diesel. ” He added that the ships of the aggression forced it to lay anchor off Jizan despite the fact that it had been inspected and had obtained UN permits to transport fuel to Yemen.
This brings the number of oil ships bound for Yemen, which the Saudi aggression has seized, to five.
Last month, the Yemeni Oil Company announced that the Saudi-led aggression coalition had pirated a ship carrying five thousand tons of domestic gas as part of the unjust siege imposed on the Yemeni people.
