SANA’A, (ST) – The Yemeni Ministry of Oil announced on Wednesday that, the Saudi aggression forces detained a ship carrying 29,545 tons of diesel fuel and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeidah.
Al-Maserha Net website quoted Issam Al-Mutawakil, the official spokesman for the Yemeni Oil Company, as saying that, “the Saudi aggression detained the ship “Sea Line” despite its inspection and obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.”
The spokesman pointed out that, these practices are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a clear violation of international charters, laws and norms, and the Sweden Agreement, which provides for allowing fuel, food and medicine ships to enter and smoothly reach the port of Hodeidah.
