DAMASCUS, (ST)- A plane carrying medical aid from the Emirates Red Crescent to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) arrived at Damascus International airport Sunday evening.
The medical aid, which includes ventilators, medicines, sterilization materials and test kits for the Coronavirus, aims at supporting SARC’s efforts to confront the pandemic and stop its spread.
The UAE reopened its embassy in Damascus in December, 2018.
