On November 5, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC)’s branch in al-Hasakah distributed food aid to arrivals in the neighborhoods of al-Hasakah city.
“1875 food baskets were distributed to the families, who live outside the shelters, in the neighborhoods of Al-Kalsa, Nassrah, Shariah and Western and Eastern Nashwa in the city of Al-Hasakah,” the SARC’s branch said in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
“The food baskets are provided by the World Food Programb(WFP) and the distribution process will continue in the coming period for the new arrivals and to the rest of the neighborhoods.”
In the past few days, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) distributed 3,800 food baskets and 6,940 winter clothing baskets to families living in the newly arrivals in the ArishahCamp from the Mabrouka and Ain Issa Camps and 500 food baskets for arrivals in Tal Tamr town.
