Sanders: The massacres committed by Netanyahu’s racist government are unprecedented
US Senator Bernie Sanders expressed his support for the protests taking place in American universities against the war on Gaza, stressing that they represent a condemnation of all forms of fanaticism and massacres committed against the Palestinians.
Sanders said during an interview with CNN: “What the extreme right-wing and racist Israeli government is doing is unprecedented in the modern history of wars. He pointed out that the number of victims during the past six and a half months reached about 35,000 Palestinians, and 77,000 injuries, two-thirds of whom were women and children.
Sanders expressed his concern about the possibility of mass starvation in Gaza due to the Israeli siege, stressing that exposing what the Israeli government is doing is a fact that must be stated.
