BRATISLAVA, (ST)- Leader of the Communist Party of Slovakia, Jozef Hrdlička has described the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the West on Syria as illegal as they were not imposed by any international organization.
The Slovak politician, who condemned these coercive measures told SANA correspondent in Prague that maintaining sanctions imposed on Syria and other countries like Iran, Cuba and Venezuela, while these countries are confronting the global deadly coronavirus epidemic, indicates the West’s arrogant, inhuman and reckless policies. He called on the Slovak government not to abide by the American and western policies towards these countries.
Hrdlička renewed his party’s support for Syria, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba in their efforts to combat coronavirus.
