Sanchez calls on international community to stop the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza

Madrid, (ST) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Sunday called on the international community to stop the cruel suffering caused by the continuous Israeli aggression against the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

While offering Christmas greetings via video to the Spanish armed forces deployed abroad, Sanchez criticized the Israeli bombing, which caused unbearable and unacceptable suffering to the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. He called on the international community to work to stop it immediately.

The Spanish Prime Minister stressed his country’s permanent commitment to peace.
