Salute to the martyrs of the media, a stand by Palestinian and Syrian organizations in solidarity with Al-Mayadeen Channel

The Palestinian resistance factions have organized a stand in solidarity with Al-Mayadeen Channel and paid tribute to the media martyrs who died as a result of the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon. The stand was organized in front of the Al-Mayadeen Channel headquarters in Damascus.

During the stand, in which Syrian and Palestinian media, party, social, cultural and religious activities participated, pictures of martyred journalists were raised, and patriotic songs were chanted denouncing the crimes of the Zionist entity against journalists.

Secretary of the Palestinian Forces Alliance, Ramez Mustafa, explained that Al-Mayadeen Channel and the rest of the media in the countries of the Axis of Resistance are media fronts standing to defend the Palestinian cause. The mission the resistance media carries out is no less important than what the resistance fighters are doing against the enemy in occupied Palestine.

Al-Mayadeen Channel correspondent in Damascus, Muhammad Al-Kheder, noted that this stance is appreciated and respected by Al-Mayadeen Channel, which has been and continues to be since the beginning of its march with the Palestinian cause. This march has been baptized with the blood of the martyrs Farah Omar and Rabi’ Al-Maamari, thus statements have been coupled with action.

On the 21st of this month, Al-Mayadeen TV correspondent Farah Omar, the channel’s cameraman Rabi’ Al-Maamari, and a Lebanese civilian were martyred as a result of the Israeli enemy targeting a gathering of journalists in southern Lebanon.
