SAF: President al-Assad’s speech evidence on the government’s keenness to stop bloodshed

Washington – The Syrian American Forum (SAF) asserted on Tuesday that President Bashar al-Assad’s speech delivered on Sunday about the political track to solve the crisis in Syria is a patent evidence that the Syrian government is keen to stop bloodshed and a frank invitation for exerting the international, regional and local efforts to fight terrorism in the region and restore stability and security.

The official spokesman of SAF, Ghiath Moussa, told SANA that any solution couldn’t surpass the Syrian legitimacy represented by the Syrian government, pointing out that the international community began to acknowledge that there wouldn’t be any solution without the Syrian government.

Moussa called on the US to cooperate with Syria instead of cooperating with terrorism –sponsored countries.
