Sadcop gas station in the town of Khan Arnabeh in Quneitra put into service again

Quneitra, (ST) – The Sadcop gas station in the town of Khan Arnabeh has returned to distribute and sell diesel and gasoline, after completing maintenance and rehabilitation work. The gas station was targeted by a terrorist attack several days ago.

Farah Saqr, a member of the executive office in the governorate for the fuel sector, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of resuming work at the station, as it is the only one connected to the public sector in the governorate. He added that through this station, the directorates are supplied with diesel, in addition to mobilizing cars and government machinery with their allocations of diesel and gasoline.

Saqr pointed out that the station’s outage negatively affected the smooth functioning of many service directorates, especially bakeries and ambulances.

On the 19th of this month, a terrorist group attacked the Sadcop gas station in the Quneitra governorate.

The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources stated that the attack was aimed at theft and resulted in damage to the petrol and diesel pumps and the station was out of service.
