Sabbagh to Iranian delegation: The repeated attack by the Israeli enemy on Syria confirms its harmony with terrorists

Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hamouda Sabbagh affirmed today that the Syrian-Iranian relations are deeply rooted and continuously renewed and that the blood of the martyrs of the two countries was mixed on the Syrian soil during the fight against terrorism.

During his meeting with the Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shoura Council Mojtaba Zul-Nouri and his accompanying delegation, Sabbagh pointed out that the repeated attacks by the usurper Israeli entity on Syrian soil confirms its full harmony with terrorist organizations that whenever they are defeated by the Syrian Arab Army in an area, Israel launches attacks as desperate attempts to support them.

He pointed to the existing relations of cooperation and coordination between the Syrian People’s Assembly and the Iranian Shoura Council at all levels, especially in international forums, stressing full solidarity with the brotherly Iranian people and their leadership in the face of repeated aggressive threats by forces trying to dominate the capabilities of peoples and confiscate their freedom.

In his turn, Zul-Nouri highlighted the Iranian-Syrian long-standing and firm relations in the face of the dangers targeting the two countries, noting that the Iranian Shoura Council was a strong supporter of the Syrian resistance and would exert any effort to help it in the reconstruction process. He pointed out that his visit to Syria aims to strengthen communication and deepen brotherlyties between the two countries’ people.
