Sabbagh: Strengthening parliamentary relations with the House of Representatives and Senate in Pakistan

On October 26, People’s Assembly ( Parliament ) Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh stressed the need to work on strengthening parliamentary relations with the Houses of Representatives and the Senate in Pakistan in a way that achieves the common interests of the two countries.

During his meeting with the Pakistani ambassador to Damascus Saeed Muhammad Khan, Sabbagh, referred to the supportive and positive stances taken by the Pakistani government and its stand by Syria during the crisis and the ten-year terrorist war against Syria.

For his part, Ambassador Khan said that his country’s government would continue to stand by Syria in its difficult circumstances and fight terrorism and continue developing bilateral relations between the two countries.

Khan noted the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries in international forums.
