Foreign and Expatriates Minister Bassam Sabbagh discussed with Talal Naji, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP ) developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, the dangerous Israeli escalation in the region, especially the brutal aggression on brotherly Lebanon, and the repeated attacks on Syria.

Minister Sabbagh affirmed Syria’s firm and principled support for the Palestinian cause, and the right of the Palestinian people to restore their inalienable rights, including their legitimate right to resist all forms of occupation and aggression, stressing the need to stop the war of genocide and war crimes committed by the occupation entity in the region, benefiting from the umbrella of protection and support provided by the US administration.

Naji stressed that the Palestinian people are clinging to their land and are continuing their resistance to the Israeli occupation despite all the massacres it is committing, and in confronting the stifling siege it is imposing and the disastrous humanitarian repercussions it is causing, extending his thanks to Syria for its firm and supportive stance towards the Palestinian people and the just cause.
