Sabbagh arrives in Iraq to participate in the meetings of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union

Baghdad (ST): Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hamouda Sabbagh, arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, at the head of a parliamentary delegation to participate in the meetings of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which will start tomorrow.

Sabbagh was welcomed at Baghdad International Airport by the President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Muhammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, the Syrian ambassador to Baghdad, Satam Jad’an al-Dandah, and a number of Iraqi MPs.

Sabbagh will attend a consultative meeting of the heads of Arab parliamentary councils and heads of delegations.
