Moscow (ST): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov affirmed that the United States of America is pursuing an aggressive policy towards Russia, pointing out that the possibility of continuing the strategic dialogue between the United States and Russia that the Americans cut off is far from clear.
Ryabkov was quoted as saying in an interview with the newspaper (Izvestia): “The speculation about the prospects for conducting a strategic dialogue with the United States is far from clear, especially when the Americans made it a pointless task given Washington’s anti-Russian policy.”
Ryabkov added that the possibility of resuming dialogue is not at all clear in view of Washington’s aggressive and reckless policy towards Russia, noting that his country is watching some signs related to the resumption of dialogue on the issue of strategic offensive weapons, but what is behind it is still unclear and negotiations in general are not conducted through the media.
