Ryabkov: Russia will not bow to American and Western pressures

Moscow (ST): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov affirmed that his country will never bow to US and Western pressure and its escalation of the situation in Ukraine.

Ryabkov said during the program “The Great Game” on Russian Channel One: “The American elites and the circles of political formation have come to the conclusion that it is possible and necessary to put a barrier in front of further growth of Russia’s role in the international arena as an independent factor, and as an independent pole of the emerging system with high experience, and this is a strategic miscalculation and a historical mistake. Russia will never surrender under American pressure,” indicating that his country notes the unrestrained escalation by the United States and other countries of the situation in Ukraine.
