Ryabkov: Officials at US Administration insist on keeping illegitimate military presence in Syria

Moscow – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov considered that it is very difficult to imagine the complete withdrawal of the US forces, whose presence is illegitimate in Syria under the current circumstances, SANA reported.

Sputnik New Agency quoted Ryabkov as saying that he sees that there is in Washington a strong stance by those who think that it is necessary to keep the illegal military US presence and violate the terms of the international law.

He added “in the current circumstance and the case of Washington’s attempt to control the world and its ambition to be present everywhere and to settle issues in accordance to its conditions I cannot imagine that the USA will suddenly withdraw completely from Syria.”

He pointed out that the Russian-American communications on Syria has not stopped even if they are not announced.
