Moscow – Russian warships positioning in the Mediterranean Sea fired four cruise missiles at ISIS positions in Palmyra countryside in the in the eastern countryside of Homs province, SANA reported.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that frigate Admiral Essen and submarine Krasnodar from the Russian Navy Fleet fired last night 4 Kalibr cruise missiles on ISIS positions near Palmyra, hitting all their targets, noting that the submarine fired the missiles from the seabed.
