Russian Senator denounces US occupation forces’ crimes in Syria

MOSCOW, (ST)_ Russian Senator has declared that the people of Syria have the right of protecting its interests and deciding its future.

The remarks of the Russian Senator Andrei Klimov, who is the Chief of the Committee of Defending State’s Sovereignty and Confronting Internal Intervention In Russia  , were made during a press conference held today in Moscow.

Klimov denounced the US occupation forces’ crimes in the Syrian Jazeera, asserting that the presence of the US troops in Syria in illegitimate and contradicts international norms.

He pointed out that a roundtable discussion will be organized with international participation to discuss an international contract to prevent the attempts of intervention in sovereign states  and to abide by UN charter.
