Russian security bodies detain five terrorists in Crimea
MOSCOW, (ST)- Russian security forces on Wednesday detained five people who are affiliated to a terrorist organization in Crimea.
“The persons are accused of being involved in the activities of a terrorist movement called Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation) in the city of Bakhchysarai in Crimea,” Russian Tass News Agency quoted a judicial source as saying.
The source added that raids and search operations were carried out in six apartments in the city.
On March 5, the Russian Federal Security Commission seized a terrorist cell that belongs to an international terrorist organization in the southern part of Russia.
