Russian security arrests cell funding ISIS

The Russian Federal Security forces detained members of a cell that was funding Da’esh terrorist group (ISIS).

Russia Today website quoted a Russian security source as saying that members of the cell collected more than ten million rubles in Dagestan Republic  to support Da’esh terrorist attacks in Syria.

The source added that two members of the cell were responsible for transferring the money for the terrorists in Syria through payment systems and banking cards.

The source clarified  that  during the inspection of members of the cell’s residence,  bank checks and banking cards were found confirming  their involvement in fundraising for Da’esh terrorist organization.

Earlier, the Russian security forces foiled an attempt to transfer six million rubles to terrorists in Syria.
