Russian scientist warns of the negative consequences of recurring Coved-19 infection

Moscow (ST) – The Russian immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov revealed that after each infection with the Corona virus, the dangerous of its negative consequences become more and more complicated.

In a statement to the Russian newspaper Izvestia, Kryuchkov said that, “the danger lies in the recurrent infection among relatively healthy middle-ages people, as the sufferer feels frequent headache, anxiety, disturbance of concentration and even depression, in addition to increased sweating and accelerated pulse. Meanwhile the corona virus causes hair loss to some people and loss of sense of smell.” He pointed out that after the emergence of the Omicron mutant, these symptoms almost disappeared.

He said that the case of re-infection with the virus has become common because Omicron creates much weaker immunity than other mutants create and lasts only a short period.

Kryuchkov stresses that it is necessary to re-vaccinate against the virus after six months of the primary vaccination in order to enchants the body’s immunity and prevent infection with the acute course of the disease and in general to have a mild course of the disease.
