Russian researchers: Washington seeks creating crises in the world to serve its interests

Director of the Institute for Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Alexei Gromyko affirmed that the United States does not plan to end wars and crises in the world, rather, it tries to exploit them.

He indicated that the presence of the American occupation forces in parts of Syria proved this colonial behavior.

He said in an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow today: “Washington is practicing its arrogance against the countries of the world and even against its allies if they do not implement what is dictated to them.”

He pointed out that Syria’s rejection of Western hegemonic policies has put it on the American target list.

He stressed that “despite the arrogance of the United States of America, its occupation forces will leave Syria, no matter how long it takes.”

In a similar interview, the Vice President of the Institute for Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladislav Belov said: The United States is acting based on its interests only.”

He indicated that this explains the presence of the American occupation forces in Syria and its theft of Syria’s resources, and the US provocative policy towards the territorial integrity of Syria, as well as towards Iran and the situation in Ukraine.

He pointed out that the United States is not considered today a leading country in resolving crisis issues in the world, but rather a leading country in creating crises and fueling conflicts in order to preserve its interests in the world.
