Russian researchers: President Al-Assad’s speech is an integrated program to solve the issues and difficulties that face Syria

Senior researcher at the University of International Relations of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Yuri Zeinin, has stressed that the speech that President Bashar Al-Assad gave yesterday after taking the constitutional oath is an integrated program to resolve all issues and overcome the difficulties in the new stage of Syria’s development.

Zeinin indicated that President Al-Assad presented in his speech an analysis of what happened during the past ten years.

Zeinin stressed that President Al-Assad has defined the tasks of the new phase by continuing to combat corruption and adopting modern methods and means of economic practice in a way that lays a solid foundation for achieving success in the future Syria.

For his part, political analyst, deputy head of the Association of Russian Diplomats, Ambassador Andrei Baklanov, stressed that the presidential elections in Syria were not just about electing a president, but rather a consolidation of the Syrian people’s confidence in their president.

Baklanov said: “ President Al-Assad’s speech after taking the constitutional oath yesterday indicates that he is a confident man in himself and his people, not only in achieving the very difficult task by defeating terrorism, but also in solving more difficult tasks by ending the American and Turkish occupations.”

Baklanov expressed his confidence that Syria will be able to rebuild the economic and social infrastructure destroyed by the war, to emerge from this ordeal more resolute than before and return to occupy its prominent position in the Middle East.

Baklanov pointed out that after the majority of Syrian land has been liberated from terrorists, the difficulties created by the imperialist policy of the United States, as usual, will be removed, and Syria will prove to the whole world that it is a country capable of challenging and thwarting external pressures.
