Russian representative to the Security Council:
-The security situation in Syria is still unstable, Israel is targeting every inch there, and tension on the Lebanese border continues.
-Syrian sovereignty must be preserved .
-The humanitarian support for Syria is insufficient due to lack of funding and the international community should show more solidarity.
-There is no alternative to a comprehensive political process in Syria with the support of the United Nations .
-We hope for friendly relations with Syria and we must fight terrorism and hold those involved accountable.
