Moscow (ST): Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that President Vladimir Putin is ready to send a Russian delegation to Minsk to negotiate with a Ukrainian delegation.

Peskov said in a press statement today: “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his readiness to discuss the neutral situation of Ukraine and we are ready to send a delegation to Minsk that includes representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kremlin administration.”

Peskov noted that President Putin announced from the beginning that the purpose of the operation is to help the Lugansk and Donetsk republics, including the demilitarization of Ukraine, and this is an integral part of the neutral situation.

Peskov noted that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko assured President Putin that Minsk would be ready to create all necessary conditions for the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.
