MOSCOW, (ST)_ Advisor of Deputy chairwoman of the Russian Federation Council, Andrei Baklanov, has asserted that the so-called ‘Caesar Act’ is an economic aggression targeting the Syrian people after the failure of the powers of terrorism, mainly the U.S., to achieve their goals in Syria.

“The Americans have imposed all types of coercive measures, including the so-called ‘Caesar Act’ with the aim of targeting the economy of the Syrian people, who has remained steadfast despite all US and European financial and economic obstacles,” he added, affirming that these measures aim to keep investors away from rebuilding process in Syria.
Baklanov, in addition, stressed that Syrian people struggles on behalf of all world people to achieve peace.
“U.S. measures are inhuman and violate international law,” he stated.
On his part, Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Konstantin Troitsev, said that the so-called ‘Caesar Act’ is one of the forms of economic and political aggression against the Syrian people.
