Russian politicians: Terrorists’ provocative acts in Syria have become overt

MOSCOW, (ST)_ Deputy Chairman of Russian Duma Pyotr Tolstoy has declared that the repeated provocative acts of using chemical weapons and misleading the world public opinion by terrorists have become overt.
 
His remarks were made during a statement to the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) in Moscow.
 
Tolstoy said that the terrorists, who try to deceive the international community through media terrorism and carry out provocative acts will be punished.
 
On his part, chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee in the Duma Leonid Slutskiy affirmed that the card of chemical weapons has been used for a long time and any provocative act in this regard to blame the Syrian state is doomed to fail.
 
“The terrorist in Idleb are trying again and again to carry out provocative acts through using toxic substances to turn  the world public opinion against Syria,” he added, referring to Turkish regime’s attempts to cover terrorist groups in Idlib.
 
Head of Federal Agency of International Cooperation Yevgeny Primakov said that the terrorist provocative acts in Syria reflect their folly as their acts became overt and they are being foiled from the very beginning.
 
He asserted that the Syrian people are able to liberate their lands and to expel occupation forces.
 
Yesterday, The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed preparations by “Al-Nusra Front” terrorists for fabricating a new play by using chemical weapons against civilians in the southern countryside of Idlib to accuse the Syrian Arab Army.
