Russian parliamentarian and Czech journalist: The American presence in Syria is blatant occupation that plunders the wealth of the Syrian people

Moscow (ST): The Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council in the Russian parliament, Konstantin Kosachev, affirmed that the presence of American forces in Syria is not based on any legality it is rather a mere occupation of the lands of a member state of the United Nations.

The Russian parliamentarian said in an interview with news reporter in Moscow today: “The Americans have expropriated the Syrian land,  plundered its wealth and tightened their grip on the land, for military, political and commercial purposes,” expressing regret and disappointment with the positions of the United Nations towards Syria, as it is rushing to hold its meetings under the calls of the United States, which avoids discussing issues of its interference in the affairs of other countries.

Kosachev added: The United Nations does not carry out its duties as a mediator to maintain peace and security in the world, at least in Syria.

In a similar interview, Roman Blaschko, a Czech journalist and geopolitical expert, said that the United States is ruled by a group of moneyed and intelligence men involved in transferring  terrorist organizations in Syria and the region, pointing out that this situation indicates that the Americans are expanding their activities in plundering Syrian wealth and supporting the separatist forces in the country.
