Russian MP: The United States is losing its influence in the Middle East and will be forced to withdraw from Syria

Member of the Security Committee of the Russian State Duma, MP Adlabi Shakhagoshev, affirmed that the presence of US forces in Syria is illegal, and that the United States is losing its influence in the region, and it will be forced to withdraw from Syria.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Moscow, Shakhagoshev indicated that Russia continues to implement its anti-terrorism policy in cooperation with the Syrian people, and it finds acceptance by and a common language with the countries of the region, and this is a matter of great importance.

Regarding Russia’s position on the recent events in Gaza, Shakhagoshev stressed that Russia does not see a solution except the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, considering that what “Israel” is doing in Gaza Strip is genocide. He added “Israel” is not the only party that made the war decision, there is The United States, which pretends to call for peace on the one hand, while provides support to “Israel” on the other in all strategic, political, financial, and intelligence fields, and constantly supplies it with the latest weapons.

He pointed out that the double standard policy pursued by the United States is met with categorical rejection in the world, especially in Arab and Islamic countries, and this cannot continue forever.
