Russian MoD: The Turkish regime continues violating Sochi Agreement on Idleb by providing support to terrorists
MOSCOW, (ST)-The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the Turkish regime continues to violate the Sochi Agreement on Idleb by providing support to terrorists who attack the Syrian army forces.
Chief of the Russian Center for reconciliation and coordination Oleg Zhuravlev explained in a statement on Wednesday that Turkey, in violation of Sochi Agreement, continues supporting terrorist groups in the Idlib de-escalation zone, using artillery and drones to strike at the Syrian army positions.
A military source said that terrorists in Idleb, with a Turkish direct support, use US-made shoulder-fired missiles to target the Syrian and Russian warplanes during operations carried out against terrorist groups on Saraqeb axis.
A Syrian army unit downed on Tuesday an American-made drone belonging to the Turkish regime over Dadikh area in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.
