Russian MoD: More than 200 terrorists eliminated in Aleppo and Idlib countryside in joint operations with Syrian Army

The Russian Ministry of Defense said Saturday more than 200 terrorists in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib were killed during the past hours as part of its joint operations with the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terrorism.

Deputy commander of Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim,, Captain Oleg Ignasyuk, said in a press statement that within the past twenty-four hours, at least 200 members of the terrorist organization of “Al-Nusra Front” and other terrorist organizations that launched an attack on the countryside of Aleppo and Idleb were eliminated.”

Captain Ignasyuk added that the Russian Airspace Forces provide support to the Syrian Arab Army and carries out missile and bomb attacks on the equipment and manpower of illegal armed groups, command centers, warehouses and artillery sites of terrorists.

The Russian military official stressed that “the operation to repel the extremist aggression is still persistent.”
