Russian MoD: Dropping a Ukrainian drone targeting Moscow

Moscow (ST):The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a Ukrainian drone that tried to target a site in the capital, Moscow.

The ministry said in a statement reported by RT: “The Russian forces thwarted this afternoon an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by drone on a site in Moscow.”

The statement indicated that the movement of the Ukrainian drone was disrupted using electronic warfare means, and it fell and crashed in a forest area west of Moscow without any injuries or damage.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev considered that Ukraine’s surrender might open the way to peace, but the United States does not want that and does not care about the blood of Ukrainians.

RT quoted Medvedev as saying via Telegram today: “Those who suffer in the trenches of the divided country (referring to Ukraine) do not really need anything but surrender, which may open the way for peace, but neither Washington nor Kiev wants peace, as America wants power,” and in pursuit of this, it does not care about the blood of Ukrainians.”
