Russian media delegation: “Homs is secure and stable”

“Homs enjoys a state of safety and stability. We have witnessed the return of normal life.” Declared Busin Busena, the Russian Channel 1 correspondent, during his visit to Homs as part of a Russian media delegation tour, which includes 6 Russian Media outlets. He pointed out that the members of the delegation who are visiting Homs for the first time, expressed their happiness at the return of safety and stability to Homs, stressing that they will convey nowday life in Homs is as they have observed, unlike what is promoted by the anti-Syrian Western media.

For his part, Pavel Amarnyov, a correspondent of the Russian Star TV channel, affirmed that the destruction that affected some of Homs neighborhoods as a result of terrorism -which Russia had suffered from as well years ago- could not abolish Syrians determination to vigorously confront terrorism that led to Syria’s triumph and restored security and stability to all of its territory.

The Russian media delegation tour included Al- Raja Association for special needs in Al-Wa’er neighborhood, where a brief presentation was provided regarding the Association services offered for people with special needs. They documented the various activities of the children and youth of Al- Raja Association including dance performances.

The Russian media delegation also visited Aman Center for Social Welfare of Aoun Association, which provides many psychological, social and training services for all ages categories affected during war.

 Imad al-Hallaq, a member of Al- Raja Association stressed the importance of the visits of media delegations to Syria and particularly to the city of Homs to convey the real image of the city by Homs residents themselves not as reported by the Western media about the absence of all aspects of life in the city.
