Russian intelligence: US occupation forces hand over rockets containing toxic agents to ISIS terrorists in Syria’s Al-Tanf area to carry out chemical provocations

Moscow (ST) – Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin affirmed that the US occupation forces present in Al-Tanf region on the Syrian-Iraqi border provided ISIS chemical weapons to discredit Syria’s leadership.

The SVR press office quoted a statement by Naryshkin on Monday as saying: “A US-British “joint intelligence committee” was recently established in Al-Tanf base, which in fact serves as headquarters for leading the activities of ISIS terrorists in southern Syria and in the vicinity of Damascus.”

“The Anglo-Americans are preparing to prop up their schemes by rolling out a high-octane media campaign to show the countries of the Arab world that their choice in favor of a renewed dialogue with Syria was a ‘strategic mistake’, and that those dissenting from this line will find themselves under the direct threat of sanctions”, Naryshkin stated.

Naryshkin stressed that: “The Deputy Commander of the Central Command of the US Army, James Milloy, is leading the activities of ISIS, which have received missiles with warheads filled with chemical agents in an area near the illegal US military base at Al-Tanf”.
